The club is delighted that for 2010 the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway have again extended the offer of free travel for club members and families on ‘La’al ‘Ratty’.  

Once again we are very grateful to Martin Cookman (Assistant General Manager of the R&ER) for this offer and we hope that it will be of benefit to both the ‘Ratty’ and to members/families alike.  

The benefits are:

1. Every active club member (swimmers who training regularly and are up to date with their fees) will be entitled to receive free passes – each pass allowing one day’s unlimited travel.
2. Every adult who regularly teaches/trains/coaches – excuse the puns - will also be able to take advantage of the free pass offer.
3. A free copy of the quarterly ‘Ratty’ magazine will be available to every family who wishes to receive it.
4. The club will receive 10% of any spend by members/parents/carers/family members etc. on the ‘Ratty’ providing that the receipts are handed into the club who will then pass them to the R&ER.
   

Dave Martin will administer the system on behalf of the club.
