Griffin Gala The 18th Bill and Monica Griffin Junior Sprint Gala will be held at the Copeland pool on Saturday 21st April 2012 with the closing date for entries Thursday 22nd March.This event for 9 to12 year olds is licenced at level 4 and with no qualifying times is an excellent introduction to open competition for young swimmers.Entry forms available from Paul Messenger. Sunderland May Open (Long Course) This level 1 Gala takes place at the Sunderland Aquatics Center on the weekend of 19-20th May 2012 and is open to all swimmers with qualifying times EXCEPT THE DIDDY LEAGUE SQUAD,  see Paul Messenger for further information. Sunderland Summer Splash (Long Course) The popular Summer Splash Long Course Gala will be staged at the Sunderland Aquatics Center on the weekend of 7-8 July 2012.The event is licensed at level 3 with no qualifying times,see Paul Messenger  for further details.
